Firestone Battle Of The Bands!

If you're hedaing over to watch Imagine Dragons this Friday, make sure you pop over to the Unsigned Stage where the Firestone Battle of the Bands will be taking place. Here's the lowdown on who's competing...

Wild Heart

The current line up of Manchester’s pop punk, Wild At Heart, met at their university, the British & Irish Institute of Modern Music and formed in April 2015.

Since then the band have released their Debut EP and have started to gain a promising amount of attention around the UK and Europe and have even been offered to be featured in American music magazines.

Indigo Sky

Five piece alternative/indie band from the North West. Formed in North Wales 4 years ago the band are currently working and gigging up and down the UK with dates in Chester, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Blackburn, Derby, Leicester, London and Cardiff as well as a brief tour of the U.S.A.

RITUALS

Rituals are an alternative five piece hailing from the Midlands with a unique take on industrial indie and synthetic pop.

Their on stage gritty bravado style is just subtly beguiling enough as to not eclipse their musical capabilities.

Enter a piece of music fast becoming known as the bands signature live song, also aptly named "Rituals".

Rituals are close to already sounding as legendary as their Post-Punk heroes, Echo & The Bunnymen, The Cure, The Sound and Joy Division. But with the spider like sensibilities of The Smiths and Kraftwerk seeping through in other songs, Rituals give us an insatiable thirst for whatever their next offering will be.

Three Empty Domes

Three Empty Domes are an Oxford based alternative-indie band comprising of Max Schnupp on lead vocals and guitar, Jake Cameron on rhythm guitar, Esme Wright on drums and Ben Draper on bass guitar, and with the exception of Ben's recent addition we've been together for around two years. We're all 17 years old going on 18.

Our style has been heavily influenced by bands such as Foals and artists such as Darwin Deez, as well as old school rock by the likes of Jimi Hendrix. Recently in a Nightshift magazine review we've been compared with Alt-J and Jeniferever's style which we feel does describe us quite well.

In terms of songs we have released one EP and are due to record our second on the 6th of November. We were shortlisted for the last Witney Battle of the bands and we've recently played D-fest local to Abingdon. We are constantly writing new material and are looking to gain as much experiences at many different types of shows as we grow.
