Sequins? Check. Glitter? Check. Argentine Tango? Check. It must be the return of Strictly Come Dancing Live! As far as the TV series goes, 2014 was possibly the best yet so the 2015 tour promised to be a Fab-u-lous show.

With a new judging panel in place consisting of former Strictly winners Tom Chambers and Camilla Dallerup joining Craig Revel Horwood alongside host Zoe Ball, the line-up of celebrity dancers featured reigning champion Caroline Flack (a personal favourite of mine).

From Scott Mills’ infamous ‘crab’ dance, Simon Webbe’s near perfect Argentine Tango, local girl Alison Hammond’s enthusiastic moves with partner Aljaž Skorjanec and last minute replacement S Club 7's Rachel Stevens heart-warming dances with Kevin Clifton, the Birmingham crowd were thoroughly entertained the whole evening.

With the audience able to vote for their favourite performer on the night, it was nice to see a surprise victory for Simon Webbe and partner Kristina Rihanoff collecting the tour Glitterball, the former going to school in Birmingham.

    Verdict

The show help myself and the entire crowd dance away the winter blues, I definitely waltzed away from the Barclaycard Arena that night!
